The short version: this website does not track you. It has no analytics, no ads and no tracking cookies. When you buy the book, Gumroad handles your payment and your details.

What this website collects

Nothing about you. There are no analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels and no sign-up forms. The only cookie is the one that remembers you unlocked the book’s extras: it is set on your device when you scan a QR code in the book or type your code, holds no personal details, is used for nothing else and lasts up to two years. The fonts and pictures come from this website itself, not from other companies.

The company that delivers the pages

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare’s servers see basic technical details when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address and which page you asked for, and may keep them in logs to keep the site safe and working. You can read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

When you buy the book

Gumroad sells and delivers the book for us. Gumroad’s checkout code loads only when you point at, tap or tab to a Buy button, so Gumroad hears nothing about visitors who never reach for one. When you buy, Gumroad collects your email address and payment details and works out the tax, under Gumroad’s own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

Gumroad shares with us what any shop needs: your email address, what you bought, when, and what you paid. We use it only to deliver the book, answer you, handle refunds and tell you about updates to the book you bought. We don’t sell it or give it to anyone else.

The 3D viewer and answer films

The 3D models and the one-minute films open on this same website, at planoaviation.com/3dviewer. The same rules apply there: no analytics and no tracking.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we use your email address only to answer you, and we keep your message only as long as we need it to help you.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@planoaviation.com. For anything to do with a payment, Gumroad may have to keep its own records for tax and legal reasons.

Younger readers

The book is written for curious teens. This website collects nothing from anyone, young or old. Buying happens on Gumroad, so if you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to buy the book for you.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
